The summer sun has been calling my name more and more in the recent weeks. I’ve also been doing some soul-searching, trying to decide whether or not to go back to school. Money is tight and time is tighter, so I may continue my full time job and look at attending on line courses. Hey, if I’m at the computer more often, I may post more…
Recent work:
I had my final installation of a swap this week. This month’s challenge was to create 6 different tags for 6 women. I came up with 36 different tags and here are some of my efforts:

(I used my cell phone to take the photo, so the resolution is not the best, but you get the idea.)
All of the items used to create this tag were purchased at a local “big box” craft store. I used an actual office tag for the base, covered it and embellished to my heart’s desire. It went the same way for this tag:

I was really inspired by the contrast of the black against the red. It’s totally me.
One more now:

The paper was the main interest in this one. I used the same layout as the last tag; but took color cues from the main paper. I loved the geometric design.
I’m going to retreat to my stamp room again, and I hope that I’ll have a few more hints of inspiration for you in the coming days.
